About Us

TempTong is a high quality, multi-use bbq/kitchen utensil created to make your life just that much easier by combining many functions into one durable tool. 

Tony spent the early part of his career in banking and finance, but his path eventually led him to the home, hearth, patio, and BBQ industry. As his passion for grilling grew, he became frustrated with the constant trips between the kitchen and the grill to grab everything he needed to cook meat perfectly. Looking for a better solution, he began searching for a pair of tongs with a built-in thermometer. To his surprise, nothing like it existed.

He realized he couldn’t be the only one who would benefit from a simple, multi-purpose grilling tool. After all, everyone appreciates a way to make cooking easier and more enjoyable. And so, TempTong was born—right in his own backyard in O’Fallon, Missouri.

With the encouragement and help from our kids, friends, family, and of course our dogs, we are here today with a product we love, and we hope you will love as well!
